This Curtiss
C-46A-45-CU (cn. 27079) served with the US AF as 42-107392 and
was later sold as N91365. In December 1972 it was imported by
Transportes Aéreos Illimani and later leased to
FRIMO, in
January 16, 1977 it crashed and was repaired only by 1984. Thus it went
to operate with SABENI Ltda.,
Aerovías Las Minas and to
Transportes Aéreos Bolívar. Finally it went to
Aerobeni
or
Air Beni, after the abrupt closing-down of this company the aircraft
remained to this day on company grounds, though its last registered
owner (RAB92) is listed as J. Chávez L. (DGAC File #459) with
airworthiness certificate last issued 21DEC91, and W&B inspection
19JUL75. |
